TYPES OF LENSES
Photochromic lenses are lenses that stay transparent indoors, but darken when exposed to ultraviolet light from the sun. Essentially, they provide the benefits of glasses and sunglasses in a single frame.
Oleophobic (anti-smudge) coatings create an oil resistant, anti-fingerprint surface that is impervious to dirt, dust, oils, and other particulates resulting in a surface that is easy-to- clean and maintains a cleaner surface longer than untreated glass.
Progressive/ Multifocal lenses have three prescriptions in one pair of glasses. That allows you to do close-up work and distance viewing without needing to change your glasses.
Bifocal lens is created with two different areas of vision correction, which are divided by a distinct line that sits horizontally across the lens. The top portion of the lens is used for distant, while the bottom portion of the lens is used for closer vision.
